ljandgb. This is very specific, but we just did a Danube cruise. We were in a royal suite on Avalon Artistry which was only available on the port side of the ship. We went down stream, Germany to Romania, so had afternoon sun. That was a real issue whenever the ship was docked for the afternoon. The room got sooo hot.

The river in Prague is the Vlatva and im sure that meets the Danube to the west nearer to Slovakia and Hungary, and The Netherlands lie to the east so im not sure. The river flowing through Amsterdam is the Amstel and I have no idea if that meets the Danube at all. The Vlatva flows into the Elbe close to Prague and on into Germany. D2gKQC.
