I’ve heard prices to replace transmission in a C-Max are around $8000 just for the parts. I have a 2013 C-Max Hybrid with 105k. Note that the transmission isn’t a “normal” transmission. It’s a CVT that combines the drive from both the gas engine and the electric.
Here are a few places to check for leaks: At the filler tube base. At the drain hole underneath the transmission. Between the transmission and the engine. At the selector shaft - the rod that connects your gear shift to the transmission. Speed sensor mounting point.
